How are the utilities calculated?

Utilites is calculated fair & square. All rooms come with its own individual meter. You will only pay what you have used.

Wifi, water, cooking gas (if applicable), laundry usage, etc. are free of charge :)

Is the room fully furnished?

Definitely YES. You will only need to bring your personal belogings, i.e. toothbrush, toothpaste, bedsheet.

We do charge a one-off contract fee of RM 300 to cover for the initial cost of tenancy agreement, cleaning, aircond servicing, preparation of keys and access cards and any other move-in related fee. No other hidden charges.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking fee in the city center ranges from RM 100 to RM 250 monthly. And yes, we do rent out parking spots. Do reach out ot us - you might score yourself a free parking.

Stay more than 1 person in a room?

It depends on the room size. Most room fit 2, and might inccur a small additional pax charges.

Most price are final and we want you to know that you are receiving the best price in the market.

However feel free to check with out room consultants!

Cleaning provided?

Yes! Free cleaning of common area. This include kitchen, toilet, throwing out the trash, etc.

Am I responsible for changing the lightbulbs or any other repairs work?

No. Our in-house maintenance team is there to fix anything from a lightbulb to a chair leg and anything in between. If you encounter any problems just let us know and we’ll make sure it’s fixed.

Can I cook?

Yes. in fact we encourage you to cook and share! Cooking is allowed to only light-medium cooking. Do clean up after you eat! Even the best chef clean up his/her dishes.

Housemates - who am I staying with?

Utopian's safety and security is our outmost priority. We filter our tenants strictly to ensure that everyone who are here does not pose any threat or danger.

Our room consultants will also inspect all co-living spaces every now and then.

Also if you are uncomfortable with your housemates, switch freely between our thousands of rooms.
